As part of our mission and vision for the future of MedEd, we have an obligation to support and develop up-and-coming educators and speakers from around the world, offering an opportunity for mentoring and feedback as well as attendance at the whole of the course. We also believe it is an obligation to provide accessible course opportunities in developing countries, offered at a tiered fee structure that aligns with low and middle income economies. We plan to offer at least one course yearly in a LMIC area, subsidizing course expenses with global attendees. Our faculty believes in this mission, volunteering their time and efforts at no financial gain. I wish we could say this was our brilliant humanitarian effort, but we have adopted the Supadel mission to support delegates from LMIC countries that otherwise would not be able to attend international professional development courses.
